Little fingers play with plastic figurines as the compact voice attached to them beckons me with questions. My computer keys grow silent. Unnatural light from the screen pales to the beauty and import of the person in miniature before me. For this reason, Political Happiness has been on a hiatus for a couple of years. There will be a day for typing, but today I'm holding chubby palms and making peanut butter sandwiches.
